Day 1
To Wexford
We travel to Pembroke for our ferry crossing to Rosslare and continue on to Wexford where we stay overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2
Wexford To Birr
After breakfast we make our way to medieval Kilkenny where we have free time to explore before continuing our journey to Birr where we stay for the next 4 nights.
Day 3
Killaloe Cruise & Birr Castle Demesne Gardens
We make our way to Killaloe for a relaxing cruise with commentary taking in breath-taking views of Lough Derg, and the River Shannon, Ireland's finest waterway. Later we visit the award-winning gardens at Birr Castle Demesne where you can see rare trees and flowers as well as wonderful wildlife.
Day 4
Galway
Excursion to the wonderful medieval city of Galway, known as 'The City of the Tribes' . It is a bohemian city full of culture with charming cobbled streets as well as having a reputation for exceptional food.
Day 5
At Leisure
Enjoy a relaxing day at your hotel with an included 3 course lunch, followed by a light dinner in the evening.
Day 6
Birr To Waterford
We depart Birr this morning and make our way to Waterford where we'll be staying overnight. You have the afternoon free to explore Ireland's oldest city which was founded by the Vikings in 914 AD.
Day 7
Waterford To Home
After an early breakfast we depart the hotel for our return sailing to Pembroke, before continuing our journey home.
