Day 1
TO ARRAS
Following the Channel crossing to Calais, we make our way to Arras where we stay for the next four nights. Dinner is included at your hotel this evening. (D)
Day 2
LILLE & MARCHE DE WAZEMMES
Excursion to the city of Lille whose historic centre, 'Vieux Lille' is characterised by 17th century brick townhouses and cobbles pedestrian streets around the Grand Place. There is also the vibrant Marché de Wazemmes to explore, one of the largest markets in France. (B)
Day 3
ARRAS
Enjoy a day at leisure in historic Arras. It is famous for its architecture, two historic squares the Grand Place and Place des Héros, wonderful markets and fascinating military sites. (B)
Day 4
AMIENS
Excursion to the city of Amiens where you will find the gothic Notre Dame Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest in France. Close by is the medieval district nicknamed 'Little Venice of the North, a charming area with colourful houses along the canals. (B).
Day 5
FROM ARRAS
We travel to Calais for the return Channel crossing and complete the journey home. (B)
