Day 2
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO THURSO
We continue our journey north to Thurso where we stay for the next two nights The coast road between Wick and Inverness passes many interesting places. (B, D)
Day 3
JOHN O'GROAT, CASTLE OF MEY & DISTILLERY VISIT
Enjoy a relaxing morning free in Thurso we make our way to the historic Castle of Mey, once a cherished refuge of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Roaming through its regal rooms and grand gardens offers a glimpse into royal history and Scottish elegance. Later this afternoon we'll visit Woldburn Distillery where the art of crafting Scotch whisky comes alive and have time at John O'Groats for photos. (B, D)
Day 4
CAITHNESS & SUTHERLAND ON ROUTE 500
Today's tour makes up a large part of the North Coast 500, an amazing route with mile upon mile of crumbling cliffs, sheer rocky headlands, picturesque lochs, sheltered bays and perfect deserted white beaches to rival those abroad. During our journey we have an included lunch a Smoo Cave Hotel, Durness. We arrive into Ullapool later this afternoon where we stay overnight. (B, D)
Day 5
WESTER ROSS COASTAL DRIVE TO THE ISLE OF SKYE
From Ullapool we head across the vast region of Wester Ross, along the shores of Loch Maree, regarded as one of Scotland's bonniest lochs. We'll pass the village of Gairloch with its pretty harbour and Sheildaig en route to the Isle of Skye where we stay for the next two nights. (B, D)
Day 6
ISLE OF SKYE
The Isle of Skye has a wealth of history from Jacobite battles to feuding clans, with the evidence of the Highland clearances still seen. Abundant in wildlife and ever-changing scenery from the patchwork of velvet moors to jagged mountains and towering sea cliffs. An experienced guide has been arranged to make the most of our tour of the island with visits to Portree, the capital and Dunvegan Castle - home of the Macleod clan for over 800 years. (B, D)
Day 7
ISLE OF SKYE TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart the Isle of Skye this morning and commence our journey to our final overnight hotel. (B, D)

We depart this morning and complete the journey home. (B)
