BURGHLEY HOUSE & STAMFORD
Excursion to magnificent Burghley House, a grand 16th century English country house. During your self guided tour you can immerse yourself in the history of the House and of the Cecil family and take in the annual Treasury Exhibition and the gardens. During the day we'll also visit the bustling market town of Stamford where you will find over 600 listed buildings and five medieval churches.
RUTLAND WATER CRUISE & OAKHAM
Visit to the pretty town of Oakham, a traditional English market town boasting medieval history, stylish shopping and a wide range of cafés, traditional pubs and restaurants Later enjoy a relaxing cruise on Rutland Water aboard the Rutland Belle and watch the scenery glide by. (The Rutland Belle Cruise is NOT available for our October 2024 departure)
Day 5
We depart after breakfast and make our way back home to South Wales with suitable comfort stop en route
